The purpose of Connecting Arvada, the City's first Transportation Systems Plan (TSP) is to identify challenges, opportunities, and strategies for improving Arvada’s transportation network over the next 20 years. The TSP will create a prioritized list of recommended infrastructure investments and a toolkit for optimizing the success of those investments. The final plan will include a framework to guide the City’s transportation network and ensure that the City can continue to meet the travel needs of the community.

The TSP studied the following topics:

• Existing traffic and capacity

• Existing transportation network

• Future multi-modal opportunities

• Congestion mitigation opportunities

In 2023, the Connecting Arvada Community Survey received over 1,300 responses. Your input directly informed the creation of the project list for the final plan.
